At E K Conveyancing, every successful property settlement is the result of teamwork — and not just the kind that happens on paper.
Behind every smooth transaction is a group of dedicated people working together, combining expertise, empathy, and attention to detail to make sure clients feel supported from start to finish.
“Our clients often tell us how calm they felt throughout the process,” says Elizabeth Kraft, Registered Conveyancer and Director at E K Conveyancing. “That calm doesn’t happen by accident — it’s the result of a team that truly cares about the outcome.”
The Power of Collaboration
Conveyancing can be complex. There are legal details, financial deadlines, and emotional moments along the way. Having a collaborative team means each of those moving parts fits together seamlessly.
Elizabeth explains:
“When one of us is reviewing a contract, another might be preparing a settlement statement or liaising with a bank or agent. Communication is constant — it’s how we make sure nothing slips through the cracks.”
This level of coordination is what keeps the process stress-free for clients. “We like to say we’re the calm in the storm,” laughs Elizabeth.
Meet the Team Behind the Scenes
- Katrina is often the first friendly face (or voice) clients meet. Her natural warmth and attention to detail set the tone for everything that follows. “I love seeing the excitement in clients’ faces when settlement day arrives,” she says.
- Peta specialises in first-home buyers, guiding them through what can be a nerve-wracking process. “It’s so rewarding when they realise we’ve got everything handled,” she adds.
- Leah is the quiet achiever who ensures all documentation and compliance requirements are met. “I’m all about the details,” she says. “If something doesn’t line up, I’ll find it — before it becomes an issue.”
Together, the team blends professionalism with a genuine sense of care.
“Everyone has a role to play, but we’re constantly sharing knowledge and stepping in to help each other,” Elizabeth says. “My role is to stay up to date and current with legislation & conveyancing best practice. For example, we are preparing for upcoming anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing rules from July 1, 2026. This is a significant change and we are updating our processes for due diligence, identity verification, and compliance to ensure our clients feel confident and relaxed.”

A Shared Philosophy
It’s not just about working efficiently — it’s about shared values.
“Empathy is a big part of what we do,” Elizabeth explains. “Clients might be selling the family home, buying after a loss, or investing for the first time. Understanding their ‘why’ helps us tailor our approach.”
The team culture Elizabeth has built prioritises both precision and humanity. “We take our work seriously, but we also keep things light in the office. There’s a lot of laughter and a lot of coffee,” she adds with a smile.
The Result: Confidence for Clients
Strong teamwork behind the scenes means smoother outcomes in front of clients. Settlements happen on time, communication is clear, and stress stays low.
“When our clients feel informed and relaxed, that’s when we know we’ve done our job well,” Elizabeth says.
From residential sales to family transfers, every matter is handled with professionalism and care — because at E K Conveyancing, success isn’t just measured by signed documents, but by satisfied clients.
Final Thought
It’s easy to think of conveyancing as an individual task — but at E K Conveyancing, it’s a true team effort. Each person brings their strengths, and together, they deliver what clients value most: confidence, clarity, and a sense of calm.
